Parks Department

The Village has five public parks, providing recreational opportunities & gathering places for residents & visitors.
Pavilion rentals are available for your next gathering.

Pavilion Rentals

All pavilions are rented on a first come, first served basis, unless a previous rental has been made.
All previous rentals have seven (7) days after the current rental to re-rent the same pavilion for the next year.
After the 7 days, the pavilion becomes open to the public for rentals.

Bicentennial Park

Located on Murray Ave., Bicentennial Park offers various playground equipment:
Three pavilions are available for rent at Bicentennial Park.

Municipal Park (AKA Brock Park)

The historic Municipal Park is located on Brock Ave., about a block from U.S. Route 30.
Five pavilions are available for rent at Municipal Park.


Pavilion rentals are $75.00 per day for Village residents or $90.00 per day for non-residents.  (Ordinance No. 24-18 Passed: 5/08/2018)

Bicentennial Park

Located on Murray Ave., Bicentennial Park offers a variety of amenities, including the following:

  • Various Playground Equipment
  • Sand Volleyball
  • Basketball & Tennis Courts
  • Skate Park
  • Disc Golf
  • A Rubberized Walking Track
  • Baseball Fields
  • And More!

Handicap Accessible Swing

A handicap accessible swing is available at Bicentennial Park.
The swing shall remain locked, until it’s use is requested.
To obtain the lock code, call (330) 868-7705 during business hours or (330) 868-4177 after business hours & on weekends.
The swing must be returned to locked status after use.

       

Municipal Park

Often referred to as Brock Park, the historic Municipal Park is located about a block from historic U.S. Route 30.

Located on Brock Ave., Municipal Park offers a variety of amenities, including the following:

  • Various Playground Equipment
  • Volleyball Court
  • Basketball Court
  • Tennis Court
  • Pickleball Court
  • A Walking Track
  • Baseball Field
  • Performance Stage
  • Numerous Benches to Enjoy The Sandy Creek
  • And More!
Mayor's Park

Located on W. Line St., Mayor’s Park offers a variety of amenities, including the following:

  • Pocket Park
  • Gazebo
  • Great for Reading & Relaxation!
  • And More!
Rotary Park

Located on S. Grant Blvd., Rotary Park offers a variety of amenities, including the following:

 

  • Various Playground Equipment
  • Pavilion
  • Baseball Filed
  • And More!

Veteran's Memorial Park

Located on E. Line St., Veteran’s Memorial Park offers a variety of amenities, including the following:

 

  • Pocket Park
  • A Rubberized Walking Track
  • War Memorabilia
  • Peace Garden
  • Serene Setting
  • And More!
