The Rodeo is back for another fun filled day.
The Minerva Chamber Rodeo will feature the Buckeye Rodeo Company presenting Bareback Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Calf Roping, Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Team Roping. Kids’ events, including Mutton Busting, Stick Horse Racing, and the Calf Scramble. will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the main event at 7 p.m. The rodeo will be followed at 9 p.m. by Tony Rio in concert on the Municipal Park Stage, sponsored by the Minerva Firemen’s Association, which will also be hosting a beer garden. Beginning at 3 p.m., there will be food and commercial vendors, as well as kids’ activities, in the park. Presale tickets at $10 for adults (age 12 and older) and $5 for children (age 6-11), and are available online through Eventbrite.com or, begining June 1, from the Chamber office, 330-868-7979, Minerva Area YMCA, Kishman’s IGA, and Loudon Motors Ford. Tickets at the gate will be $12 for adults and $6 for kids. Children age 5 and younger are admitted free.
