The Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival will be held downtown on Saturday, May 19 from 11 am to 7 pm. This event is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.
There will be lots of family activities including great art and jazz music, crafts and food vendors as well as activities for kids.
Minerva’s Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival on May 19 again offers a great lineup of professional and student bands, playing jazz from a wide variety of genres! The schedule for the day is: 10 am – Denny Ott, saxophone; 11 am – Minerva High School; 11:45 am – Blu Monsoon (contemporary jazz & blues); 1 pm – Northwest High School; 1:50 pm – The Furnace Street Jazz Band (straight-ahead jazz); 3:05 pm – Sandy Valley High School; 3:55 pm – Erbo and the Buzz Factor (jazz with steel drums); 5:10 pm – Beaver Local High School; and 6 pm – the Alliance Symphony Orchestra Big Band.
The Buckeye Woodturners will return to the Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival, May 19 on Minerva’s N. Market Street! Watch these artists create everything from pens to tops to bowls.
Calling all photographers! The Photography Shoot Out returns to the Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival, May 19, 11 am-7 pm. Cash prizes will go to the top three images in each of two age categories, best capturing the essence of the festival.
