The annual Spring Cleanup for the Village of Minerva will be Saturday, May 12th.
Please note the following restrictions:
All trash to be hauled must be in disposable containers and placed at the curb by 6:00 A.M. May 12th. These containers must not exceed 50 pounds each. Residents are reminded that the trucks must be able to access the items so if vehicles are parked in front of the items, they will not be picked up. Trucks will not pick up a second time, so all items must be at the curb, accessible, on time.
NO dirt, rocks, or material of this nature will be hauled. NO household paints or chemicals will be taken. NO tires will be accepted due to House Bill 592 banning tires from Solid Waste Landfill Disposal. Tree limbs and brush must be in bundles not to exceed five feet in length or 50 pounds in weight. Appliances that use Freon will be accepted only if the Freon has been removed by a certified technician and has been tagged by said technician.
