The Minerva Public Library is hosting a presentation titled "Breaking Through the Lines: The Marion Motley Story" on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the library. Author David Lee Morgan Jr. will share untold stories from his book about Marion Motley, an integral part of the Cleveland Browns who helped break the color barrier in professional football.

The Minerva Public Library will hold an adult in-person craft "Pumpkin Sweater" on Sept. 9 at 10:30 am

The Minerva Senior Center is holding a Picnic in the Park at Bicentennial Park on September 10 from 11-1. Bingo and lunch will be provided. Open to all Seniors, age 55 and over. If inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Senior Center. Please RSVP to 330-868-6004
